In CK2 you could set persons of interest. In CK3 I can pin a character, but I get no message about their doing and wrong doing. Yes, it is something that miss. I like the side stories. But in this game we are submerged with uninteresting messages and we have no choice to select the ones we want like in CK2. This is very badly done.

Intel Mesa Intel UHD 620 (KBL GT2) Intel Core i5-8250U @ 1.60GHz. This game uses a lot of RAM. When I had only 16GB of RAM, the game would frequently cause me to run out of memory (causing frequent crashes). However, creating a 32GB swapfile fixed this problem entirely, and with 32GB of RAM it's a non-issue.
But I guess now isn't a great time to download mods as they'll all probably be broken and outdated when Royal Court comes out :P. If you start in 1066 the game will run better in 1400 than if you start in 867. Also, turning off the game setting to generate families of historical figures will also improve performance.
5 items. Description. Tries to improve on the new barbershop. Put this mod below CFP in the playset, if you use both. Adds hotkeys and a color picker for clothes, fixes scaling issues, lets you zoom in closer. Adds green screens, visual traits, custom text, plus more details for realm, house and dynasty. Your character is centered on the screen.
I booted up the game for the first time, set graphics to low, and tried to play. This bug popped up and wouldn't go away after I changed settings multiple times. The game is unplayable in this state. Below is a screenshot and a save file. Please explain how to reproduce the issue I'm using an intel 4000 hd graphics card, so first have one of those.
Palettes should be 256x256 pixels, and should be saved with the 8.8.8 BGR 24bpp .dds format, without mipmaps. Palettes are located at. gfx/portraits. and consist of: hair_palette.dds.
This mod fixes an issue with the map for some players with integrated graphics cards. The map is distorted and covered in rectangular bars (as seen in the picture). This mod fixes the problem. Added to OP. Had this issue too, it's one of the checkboxes in the graphics settings, can't remember the exact name but it's something like texture filtering/mapping. It’s advanced shaders. Weird. And it impacts performance. Why CK2 terrain looked way better. CK3 is just ugly in general. I don't know why nu-Paradox fans love CK3/I:R
Other than upgrading your hardware, best suggestion I can give is to make sure your graphics settings are cranked down to the bottom. If they are, you can try going from 1920 x 1080 resolution to 1600 x 900. Last edited by Razorblade ; Sep 15, 2020 @ 10:58pm. #1.
Mods to improve performance of Crusader Kings II on low end systems. Includes two basic fixes to features that are otherwise difficult to disable; water and fog animations. Replaces the default fancy water effects shader with a flat shader so your graphics card does less work, good for low end systems. Setting draw_water=no looks pretty bad, so
