Making a 2 hour movie for such widescoped lore can't give right focus to theatrical view. Only plausible solution would be to making mini-series or a huge series running for several seasons , because with only the latter format they could cover all the lore and essential stories that happen in Warcraft.

Warcraft is bizarre. I've really never seen anything like it before. I totally get why people who have never played the game are absolutely hating this movie. There is A LOT going on and there's really no structure what so ever. Quite frankly, this film is a mess. The pacing is everywhere. The movie had great success when it was release, and as such, despite negative reviews, some opinions were formed about the future of Warcraft 2 sequel. For those who love both movies and Warcraft Universe, there is question of whether sequels will come to mind.

5/10. Apart from a few really wow easter eggs, for me the storyline was way too different compared to the actual story of the game. Could have been a great film, but it lost the potential. The storyline wasn't even clear for me as inbetween scenes the characters were just appearing/disappearing quite randomly.

Whatever you do, do not hire that guy, Duncan Jones, as the director. Of all the things he could ruin, he ruined the story, by changing major and minor plots of Warcraft 1 to make them look more Hollywood-ish. Some of the twisted plots are: Lothar having a son just so that he can die and then Lothar will be in pursuit of vengeance, ending up slicing the balls of Blackhand. Blackhand dying by The thing about the Marvel movies is that there are already multiple story-lines for every character/universe, tweeking plot points isn't much of an issue realistically. With the Warcraft movie they are pulling from only 2 Orc origin stories.
