Ihad a 2015 Mazda 6, 2.2D . The engine is fine in terms of drivability but perhaps more than others it needs those big motorway miles or it will clog up with soot. At 20,000 miles a year on motorways you will be fine with it, the issue is the person before you and how they used it. Mine had soot build up issues, £800 bill to put it right.

Never had an issue, traded it for an SUV for the wife. 3 years back I wrecked a damn near brand new car (not my fault :) ) and ended up getting into a 14 Mazda 6, had that for 2 years and now I have a 16 Mazda 6.
